SERVICES AVAILABLE FOR RETIREES

• Issuance of letters of introduction to Banks, High commissions and Embassies.
• Issuance of Tax exemption letters to retirees based on request
• Issuance of identity Cards to pensioners in exchange of NNPC ID Cards
• Printing of pay slips for Pensioner use.
• Granting Pensioners online access to pay slip and personal data by issuing them log on details on the NPFL website
• Attending to all Pensioners request and complains
• Conduct of Nationwide verification exercise for all NNPC/DPR Retirees.

USEFUL INFORMATION FOR NEW RETIREE

• Upon retirement and completion of formalities at last SBU and GHR, the employee’s file is sent to NPFL for validation of gratuity/pension computations and placement on the payroll.
• After the file is processed, the request for payment of gratuity is forwarded to GFAD for payment while the retiree is placed on pension payroll with effect from time of exit from services
• The retiree is then expected to visit NPFL in order to;

• Capture his or her biometric data
• Exchange the NNPC ID Card with retiree ID Card
• Collect PIN for online access to payslip and personal data
• The retiree is expected to come along with 2 passport photographs and copies of their employment and retirement letter for the above exercise
• After this, the retiree is expected to submit himself/herself for the periodic pensioners’ verification.
